Revive Adds InVivoLink and NaviHealth to Client Roster

Two Nashville-Based Health Care Innovators Select Revive as Agency of Record

Nashville, TN - June 18, 2012 - Revive, the country’s 11th largest health care public relations firm, today announced the addition of two Nashville-based health care clients: NaviHealth, an innovator in post-acute care delivery and InVivoLink, a clinically-integrated provider of outcomes-driven data that is used to improve the value of orthopedic implant procedures.  These latest additions build on a rapidly expanding list of Health Services, Health Technology, and Healthy Living companies represented by Revive.  The firm’s growth has accelerated since opening its Nashville office in early 2011, and since bringing on Mirena Bagur as Health Technology practice leader earlier this year.

Long recognized for its work and experience in the Health Services sector, Revive began its expansion into health technology last year.  Working with the existing Revive executive team, Bagur, a health technology veteran with global agency experience at Weber Shandwick, is focused on growing the firm’s Health Technology practice.  She is a lecturer at the Harvard Medical School/MIT program on Health and Science Technologies, and a frequent speaker at industry events such as The Capital Network - Boot Camp, Interconnected Health, and Healthcare Unbound.

John Bass, COO of InVivoLink, said, “Revive is a perfect fit for us because of its deep industry experience in health care and its ability to offer a fresh perspective on how to make technology relevant to our customers.  We needed a firm that understands that intersection of health care and health technology, and shares our focus on business results while keeping the patient at the center of all we do.”

Recently mentioned in the February edition of FastCompany, InVivoLink has quickly become the industry leader in helping hospitals and healthy systems operationalize evidence- and value-based medicine to improve clinical outcomes, elevate the patient experience, and remove waste across the entire episode of care for orthopedic implant procedures.

NaviHealth, led by CEO Clay Richards and board chair Thomas A. Scully, former CMS Administrator and partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, is transforming post-acute care in America, changing both the model and the expectations.  NaviHealth partners with health plans, health systems and post-acute providers to manage the entire continuum of post-acute care. They utilize evidence-based protocols to optimize care and bundled payment methodologies to align all stakeholders.

“At Revive, all we do is health care,” said Brandon Edwards, president of Revive, pointing to the firm’s unique health care experience compared to other firms.  “We live and breathe it, and for many health care companies looking for a PR and marketing partner, there just is no substitute for domain expertise.  When it comes to health care and health technology, we get it.  We are able to immediately identify opportunities for our clients, translate the complexity of the health care system into simple terms and connect with our clients’ customers, their employees, and their patients in ways they can understand.”
