I-COM has announced the date of its next free web clinic, and the first of 2012. The event will take place on Wednesday 8th February 2012 at JMW Solicitors’ Spinningfields offices.

This is the third in the series of free web clinics run by the full-service online marketing firm, and the first run in association with prominent Manchester law firm, JMW. The events give businesses from throughout the UK the chance to secure some free advice from a panel of experts.

The February Web Clinic will work in exactly the same way as the first two instalments. I-COM will assemble a panel of specialists, whose expertise covers web design and development, online copywriting, search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) and social media.

Between 10am and 1pm, the panel will assess the websites and marketing strategies of the companies in attendance and offer free, constructive advice on how to improve them.

There will then be the chance to return to the I-COM office for a more in-depth, one-to-one discussion of any issues raised during the clinic.

Attendees to previous I-COM web clinics have heaped praise on the events, with James O’Sullivan of recruitment firm Leap29 commenting, “[The Web Clinic was] very informative, and useful to communicate with a panel of experts and other users. Got some great feedback. Would like to attend more of these events.”

Sara Baines of law firm Appleyard Lees said of the function: “[It was a] great informal format - I learnt more here today than I have over the last few years! Very knowledgeable panel.”

I-COM’s Operations Director, Mike Blackburn, commented: “Based on the feedback we’ve received from attendees, it seems that businesses found the first two web clinics really useful.

“That’s why we’ve decided to continue with the format in 2012. We know how tough it is for business owners at the moment, and we want to help them make sure they’re doing everything possible to grow their businesses online.”

Those who want to attend apply for a place by calling 0161 402 3170 or by visiting the I-COM website and registering online.

JMW’s offices are at Byrom House, 1 Byrom Street, Spinningfields. I-COM’s offices are at Lloyds House, 18-22 Lloyd Street, Manchester.
