New Perfectus DS Website Gives Luxurious Online Presence to Top Artists

Erie, PA (February 21, 2005) – One of the leading web marketplaces for creative professionals got a makeover today when it rolled out its new web design. Perfectus Digital Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of newline Creations, LLC, revamped, making it easier than ever for artists to showcase their work – and for potential clients to find it.
The cornerstone of the new Perfectus DS website is its new Directory. While Perfectus DS has always provided outstanding graphics support for its members, it has not always been as successful in organizing the huge volume of material it houses. “We realized a while ago that simply providing our members with excellent Flash portfolios is not enough if nobody can find those portfolios on the Internet,” says project manager Lukasz Karapuda. Now, he says, portfolios are organized by industry – seventeen industries, in fact – so it’s easy for visitors to find creative professionals that fit their needs. Indeed, Perfectus DS members can be located through Google and other search engines.
At “starving artist” prices – ranging from free to $139 per year – Perfectus DS already provided a low-cost and luxurious setting for architects, photographers, graphic artists, and other professionals to display their portfolios. Photographer Alphonse Telymonde, in explaining why he chose Perfectus DS, has called the company’s showcasing capabilities “brilliant.” Other artists cite “world class” presentation and ease of use. The Directory’s impressive array of 325 portfolios – nearly all of them top-notch – is further evidence that Perfectus DS is the prime contender for artists who want to develop a web presence.
To help publicize the website’s makeover, Perfectus DS is offering a free professional membership – a value of $139 – for any member who writes an article about digital portfolios that is published on the website’s blog. Still, it’s the quality – not only of Perfectus DS, but also of its artists – that remains the company’s biggest draw.
Meanwhile, the new website design is just the beginning. Coming soon will be member profile pages, a new forum, and an improved portfolio management utility.
