The New York FAME presents “FAME“ benefiting Music Unites

On February 10, 2012, The New York FAME will host “FAME”, a Winter 2012 Fashion Week event benefiting Music Unites. Founded by Melisa Brown, The New York FAME, serves as New York City’s premier outlet for high-end fashion designers and philanthropists. Music Unites is a dedicated philanthropic organization that hosts various innovative concert events bringing an influential audience together with both established and up-and-coming artists for the love of music and common goal of raising funds and awareness for music education programs in underserved communities. 

“FAME”, the special New York FAME Winter 2012 Fashion Week event benefiting Music Unites, offers artists in both realms of music and fashion an amazing platform to showcase their talents while raising awareness and support to maintain music education programs in underfunded school districts.

Music Unites, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is dedicated to bringing music education to underprivileged children in underfunded inner city school systems. Our goal is to connect people through the universality of music by providing communities with opportunities for a rich musical experience. This is achieved  through education programs and by offering established and emerging musicians performance opportunities in a variety of venues and locations, including schools, where they act as mentors to the students.
