Australians Desire For Laughs Leads To Competition

Jamie Honey from Australia made a joyful living for 20 years by being an entertainer, actor, live action performer and Improv coach. He now lives in a tiny town in the USA . Unfortunately, there are not a lot of performing opportunities in the small town he lives in! So, after a few years of doing construction to make ends meet, and his innate desire to make people laugh, he began searching for a way to express some creativity. He discovered fiverr.com.

From there, he joined a very unique contest, and a brilliant marketing plan from a brand new company called Maxxo!  With limited time, Jamie pulled out his improv skills and in a couple of hours he had a finished product.  The idea, the acting, the improvisation, the filming and the editing were all done by Jamie. Currently running, he remains in the top 3 right now. People win this contest by facebook ’likes’ on their videos at Maxxo’s facebook page, and the top winner receives $500! Jamie said to Maxxo, “I must admit the $500 Carrot dangling certainly got this old donkey to work a little harder.... LOL. I did have fun being given the open creativity to come up with anything, cheers for that. My wife thinks your marketing is genius,... she’s now offering a ”potential“ $500 if I paint the house :D (I’m a little suspicious)!”

Jamie has always loved improv, and the way it makes people laugh! Jamie says improv can teach amazing listening skills which can enhance any relationship. Improv teaches effective communication skills which can increase sales, workplace teamwork, productivity, and creativity. You can also increase your imagination through improvisation which is fundamental from children to adults.
