Full-service online marketing agency I-COM’s second free Web Clinic has been praised by attendees at the event for opening their eyes to the opportunities offered by the internet and giving them tips on how to make the most of those opportunities.

Businesspeople from a host of companies in a variety of sectors in the Manchester area came to the Web Clinic, which was divided into a seminar-style discussion in the morning and one-on-one sessions in the afternoon.

An expert panel, made up of search engine optimisation (SEO), social media, web design and web development professionals at the agency, discussed in detail as many of the attendees’ websites as possible, offering specific tips on how they can improve everything from online sales and enquiries to new business leads.

Commenting on the day, Jo Wood from the Manchester Flower Company said: “Really lovely people. Great help,” while Louise Kilvert added: “Very information - great format.”
James O’Sullivan from Leap29 noted: “[The Web Clinic was] very informative, and useful to communicate with a panel of experts and other users. Got some great feedback. Would like to attend more of these events.”

Following the event, Simon Belt of Simply Better It/Manchester Salon tweeted: “Just been to an I-COM Web Clinic with @I_COM and highly recommend them - very smart cookies.”

Due to popular demand and such positive feedback from attendees both at the latest and inaugural Web Clinic, I-COM aims to put on another clinic at the end of November. Next time the numbers will be more limited to ensure all participants get the opportunity of having their site reviewed.

Tim Roberts, managing director of I-COM, stated: “We’re delighted that so many people have found our Web Clinics useful and gone away with a real idea of how best to grow their business online.”

“However, companies should know that if they are thinking of investing in online marketing, they can come to us at any time and ask for our advice, obviously with no obligation.”

I-COM is one of Manchester’s fastest growing online marketing agencies. Established in 2005, it now employs 30 people in its city centre offices. Key clients include Dreams, Confetti and JMW Solicitors.
