MEC Canada appoints Dave Crammond SVP, Managing Director

TORONTO — MEC, a leading media agency (www.mecglobal.com) announced today that Dave Crammond has been promoted to Senior Vice-President, Managing Director of Trading and Operations. He will report to Michele Pauchuk, President of MEC Canada.

Crammond joined MEC as Media Supervisor in 1992 and was named Head of Trading in 2008. During his time with the agency, he has led several major national and retail accounts, including the Ford Dealers Association and Netflix Canada. Crammond has been responsible for overseeing all media implementation, developing multi-platform and content integration opportunities, as well as managing quality control for all media trading.

Prior to joining the agency, Crammond honed his craft at Kert Advertising, Baker Lovick and began his career at Media Specialists in 1985. He has experience in virtually every advertising category through work on Hasbro, Subaru, Apple, Ford, Cara, Netflix and Molson.

Crammond graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Economics. He currently resides in Toronto.
