Pacific Cosmetic Surgeons and Sciton Join Forces to Offer the Profile(TM) Expandable Laser Platform to Revolutionize the Laser-Cosmetic Skin Care Market

Los Angeles, Feb. 15, 2005 -- Sciton, Inc. produces and manufactures the Profile(TM), an innovative expandable multi-laser platform enabling physicians to offer a broad range of applications, ranging from MicroLaserPeel(TM), a weekend peel, to high-speed hair removal, vascular treatments, photo rejuvenation therapy, and many more.

Sciton’s goal is to provide physicians with one laser that will effectively and efficiently treat all skin types and hair colors, in a relatively painless manner. Chris Zachary M.D., FRCP, stated that “providing such pain-free procedures that can be performed quickly is essential.”

In 1998, Sciton revolutionized the skin resurfacing market with the introduction of the Contour(TM) dual mode long pulse erbium laser that allows physicians to independently select the depth of ablation and coagulation. Then in 2000, Sciton introduced a high-speed hair removal laser incorporating a long pulse Nd:YAG called ThermaScan(TM). In 2003, Sciton introduced BBL(TM), a versatile broadband pulsed light laser, with interchangeable filters and capable of several photo rejuvenation treatments.

Pacific Cosmetic Surgeons in association with Pacific Specialists have selected the revolutionary technology Sciton has developed to offer complete skin rejuvenation to their patients.
