Tim Clarke Joins Cox Media Group Tampa as Program Director for the New HOT 101.5 All the Hits WPOI FM

TAMPA – – Cox Media Group (CMG) Tampa has hired Tim Clarke as its new program director for the new HOT 101.5, ALL THE HITS! WPOI-FM. As program director, Clarke will be responsible for all programming operations for WPOI, including talent selection, coaching, music scheduling, imaging, and more.

“Tim brings the passion and understanding of this music and audience to a new level,” said CMG Tampa VP and General Manager Keith Lawless. “We welcome Tim as our newest member of the CMG Tampa family. In a short amount of time, Tim has built a reputation as a successful leader in this format. He will no doubt add HOT 101.5 in Tampa to the list of top performing stations he has influenced.”

Clarke’s appointment is another example of how CMG is able to tap into its existing talent from across its diverse direct marketing, newspaper, radio and TV businesses. His career with CMG spans six years. Prior to joining the CMG Tampa team, Clarke was program director at CMG Jacksonville’s WAPE 95.1 FM, and he also was music director for CMG Long Island’s WBLI 106.1 FM.

For the first time in 22 years, Tampa Bay has a new hit radio station in HOT 101.5 playing all the hits. Tim will lead programming operations effective immediately.
