AutoCrew Workshops Meet Bosch Quality Standards

* Major expansion of the AutoCrew network, primarily in the European market
* Independent brand image promoted with the AutoCrew brand
* Regular workshop tests for quality assurance purposes

In 2009, Bosch acquired the AutoCrew workshop concept, which was introduced to the German market by ZF Services in 1994. After a period of consolidation, Bosch is now significantly expanding the service scope and network of this workshop concept, both across Germany and internationally. In the medium term, the number of AutoCrew partner workshops is set to increase by more than double the current total. By the end of 2011, AutoCrew will be represented by around 700 workshops across the world. The expansion project will initially focus on Belgium, Great Britain and Eastern Europe, with the Mediterranean countries following in 2012. In Germany, the number of workshops is set to increase to approx. 400 over the next two or three years. Around 40 AutoCrew Truck and Trailer workshops currently serve the commercial vehicle service segment in Germany; this segment will also be expanded within the German market. The AutoCrew brand will be managed worldwide as an independent workshop concept with the additional wording “A Bosch Automotive workshop brand”.

Regular Workshop Tests for Quality Assurance
Meeting quality standards is a key part of all Bosch workshop concepts for both Bosch Service and AutoCrew workshops, as a consistently high quality level provides these partners with a sound basis on which to operate in the service market. In the AutoCrew workshops, compliance with quality standards will be checked regularly in future using anonymous workshop tests. These checks will primarily focus on the technical services provided, as well as additional topics such as other services offered, customer orientation and associate expertise.

All AutoCrew workshops are equipped with the latest Bosch testing equipment and offer Bosch spare parts in original equipment quality. Service Training offered by Bosch also provides regular update and development courses to ensure that workshop associates are up to speed with the latest technical developments.
