Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach Confirms Successful Sales For Mercedes Benz Brand During December 2010

January 3, 2011 – Signal Hill, Calif. – Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach confirms, Mercedes-Benz USA had the highest sales for 2010 in December.
Mercedes-Benz had sales of 21,469 vehicles in December, its highest monthly volume of the year, bringing the company’s 2010 total to 225,007, an increase of 18% over 2009.
“These figures show that as a brand, Mercedes-Benz can provide an unmatched ownership experience,” said Bob Milner, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach. “Our owners see and feel the difference and they help the Mercedes-Benz brand stay on top.”
The 9th generation E-Class was the volume leader for both the month and year, with December sales of 5,638, bringing its annual volume to 60,922 – a 41.4 % increase over its volume in 2009.  While the C-Class followed with monthly sales of 4,924 and a yearly total of 58,785, a 12.1 % increase over last.
