Corning Elects Two New Senior Vice Presidents

Pambianchi, Calabrese step into new roles

CORNING, N.Y., – The board of directors for Corning Incorporated has elected two new senior vice presidents: Christine M. Pambianchi and Dr. Gary S. Calabrese. The promotions are effective immediately.

Pambianchi, 42, joined Corning in 2000 as division human resource manager, Corning Optical Fiber, and went on to be director, Human Resources, Corning Optical Communications and director, Business Human Resources. She was named division vice president, Business Human Resources, in 2004 and elected vice president in 2007. She became vice president of Corning’s Human Resources function in 2008.

Calabrese, 53, joined Corning Incorporated in 2008 as vice president, Science & Technology. In November 2009, he took on the additional responsibilities of director, Photovoltaic Glass Technologies.
