ElDoradoGuide.com Launches “New” Website

El Dorado County, CA, – ElDoradoGuide.com has redesigned it’s website to act as an online hub of information about people, places, businesses and happenings in every city and region of El Dorado County. The decision resulted in an improved website that is chock full of facts, listings, news, activities and events that brings the community to it’s readers.

ElDoradoGuide.com was purchased by Erik and Lisa Schmid in May 2010. The website which was founded by local resident Cristal Schwartzman in 2003 received a high volume of traffic, but was in need of a make-over.

“I grew up in El Dorado County, so when ElDoradoGuide.com became available, my wife Lisa and I jumped at the chance to develop its potential and get more involved in the community where we want to raise our family,” explained Erik Schmid. “You won’t find another website as helpful and exciting for El Dorado County residents and visitors as ElDoradoGuide.com .”

Schmid further says: “With new pages such as The Wine Country Guide that features El Dorado Wineries and The Fabulous Fifties a virtual road map to recreation and points of interest, visitors have a one-stop resource for all things El Dorado County. The launch of the “New” ElDoradoGuide.com marks a new direction for the website-one that will reinforce our position as a rich source of information for El Dorado County.“
