Avnet Technology Solutions Expands SMB Security Portfolio in Singapore Through New Distribution Agreement with Check Point

Singapore -- Avnet Technology Solutions, a solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT), today announced an agreement with Check Point Software Technologies in Singapore to deliver security solutions that address the requirements of local small-to-medium sizes businesses (SMB).

Following this agreement with Check Point, the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, Avnet will distribute Check Point UTM-1 Edge and Safe@Office N appliances to channel partners in the Singapore market. Both solutions are designed to meet the growing IT security demand of small-to-medium size businesses and branch offices.
