Art Director’s Club of Denver Selects Impossible For Three Major Awards

WEBWIRE

Impossible continues to dazzle peers and clients around the country with its impressive work. At its annual show last week, the prestigious Art Director’s Club of Denver (ADCD) honored Impossible with three major awards for television commercials developed by the agency. Impossible won two gold level awards, including the Best in Show for Broadcast Advertising, as well as a bronze award.

The awards represent several unique achievements mastered by the creative and technical experts at Impossible. The Best in Show for Broadcast Advertising award was given to Impossible for an Emmy-winning television commercial that promoted the highly anticipated Genghis Khan exhibit that took place at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. In the spot, Impossible managed to enthrall the viewer with scenes of ancient invaders storming the modern-day city. Using advanced CGI technology, Impossible imparted an unforgettable visual message.

Impossible’s role in developing some of the most memorable and effective promos for upcoming shows on The Discovery Channel, A&E and other major cable channels laid the foundation for the second award, a gold in broadcast advertising. Impossible designed a riveting spot for “Solved,” a reality based crime drama on Investigation Discovery. The spot captures the intensity and problem solving behind the in-depth investigations taken on by real-life police and FBI agents.

The third award, a bronze level honor, is for Impossible’s work to create a visually stunning spot for all-terrain vehicle maker, Polaris for advertising agency Integer. Employing clever yet subtle compositing techniques that relied heavily on 3D modeling and camera projections, the designers and animators at Impossible breathed life into otherwise motionless photography.

“Getting awards from our peers is more humbling and gratifying than virtually anything else,” commented Brian Eloe, Associate Creative Director at Impossible. “Any accolade we receive is made possible by our amazingly talented and creative staff who work tirelessly to deliver the highest quality work for our clients. I’m thrilled the Denver production community has recognized their work.”
