Houston Designs completes Hopkins County Memorial Hospital’s Wayfinding Package
Houston Designs, a Dallas based WBE and HUB certified full service environmental graphic design firm, was hired by the Owner’s Rep, HCMI, to provide interior and exterior wayfinding, signage & graphic design services for Hopkins County Memorial Hospital’s 200,000+ SF Renovation and Expansion Project in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Houston Designs approached the project with valuable input from the hospital’s CEO, COO and Head of Nursing and created a custom designed interior and exterior wayfinding, signage & graphic design package that was unique for the hospital as well as completed the redevelopment of the hospital’s logo identity and branding. The project consisted of creating signage packages for the ER, Cath Lab, Bed Tower, Outpatient/Registration, Administration, Lab, Gift Shop, etc.
A color coded system per each department was also created to allow visitors to navigate through the hospital much easier and is soon to incorporate a color coded flooring system which will reinforce the department colors and signage system. The project was completed in June.
