Bids Soar for Rare Beatles Record l Album Auction Selling on eBay
WhatSellsBest.com, a website tracking rare auction items selling on eBay, is reporting bidding has passed $10,000 on day two of a seven day auction, for a rare (sealed) Beatles ’Butcher’ Album.
The record had never been opened by its original owner and remains still sealed in its factory shrink wrap.
The 1966 Beatles ’Butcher’ (album) cover was used in an early release of “Yesterday and Today”. The album is sought by collectors due its controversial image of John, Paul, Ringo, and George on the albums cover. The controversy surrounding the image led to most albums being recalled, which makes this particular album cover very scarce.
