Cougar Vineyard and Winery, Located In The Temecula Valley Wine Country, Moves Forward With New Tasting Room Construction

Cougar Vineyard And Winery’s construction on their 2750 sq ft Tasting Room moves closer to reality after their building plans were approved last month with the County of Riverside. The installation of two required Fire Hydrants was completed in July paving the way for the Tasting Room construction to begin.

“We have a few minor details to take care of with the County of Riverside before our building permit is issued. We are working those over the next few weeks with anticipation of a permit being issued by the end of August to mid September time frame.” said Rick Buffington, owner and President of Cougar Winery.

The new Tasting Room will include a small Deli area with seating inside and outside overlooking the 16 acres of family planted vineyards. The estate property is planted entirely in Italian varietals, some not available at any other winery in Southern California. A deck is also planned for seating around the olive trees and vineyard. Construction is targetted for completion early Spring 2011.



Cougar Vineyard and Winery is owned and operated by Rick and Jennifer Buffington located in the Temecula Valley CA Wine Country.
