Oak Mountain Winery Announces Second Appearance of Chef Michael for July Winemaker’s Dinner

(Temecula, California) June 15, 2010 - Oak Mountain Winery, the most beautiful boutique Temecula Winery, was overwhelmed by customer response to Chef Michael’s May 28th Winemaker’s Dinner. We immediately booked him for a follow-up on July 30th. Chef Michael has promised a seven course gourmet feast that he guarantees will out shine the last.

People that were in attendance at the event may find it hard to believe that Chef Michael is guaranteeing something better as they were floored by the May event. Richard Johns, who travels the United States to inspect his properties, goes out of his way to attend winemaker’s dinners. After the last dinner he told our group:

“Of all the winemakers dinners my wife & I have attended all over the country this was by far over the top the best we have ever had.”

This sentiment was shared by all. I doubt most in attendance even wanted to eat the food as it was so beautiful in presentation.

The wine paired menu for our upcoming event includes:

Amuse Bouche: Ahi/Radish Flower with Rice Cracker in a Spicy Citrus
Appetizer: New York with Sweet Berry Compote, Truffle Edamame Puree
Salad: Cucumber Wrapped Mixed Greens, Orange Segments, Daikon Sprouts with Avocado, Blood Orange Vinaigrette
Soup Shooters: Corn Soup, Avocado Soup & Carrot Soup with Ginger
Entrée: New York Steak cooked Sous Vide, Garlic Potato Puree, Shimeji Mushrooms
Entrée Second Course: Beef Roast with Summer Asian Veg Medley
Dessert: Red Wine and Balsamic Lemongrass poached Pear
Chocolate sheets, Coconut Pain Perdue, and Passion Fruit Curd

We have opened this meal to non-members so they too can enjoy the beauty of Oak Mountain Winery, the award winning wines and a marvelous meal. This July 30th event costs $75 for members and $85 for non-members. Chef Michael has told us that the Ritz Carlton charges more than twice as much for a similar wine paired meal.
