Bidding War Erupts for Rare Beatles Album ’Sleeve’ l Top Selling on eBay
WhatSellsBest.com, a website tracking rare auction items on eBay, is reporting bidding has reached $30,000, on day four of a ten day auction, for a rare signed Beatles Album Sleeve, selling on eBay.
The 1967 sleeve for the Beatles album ‘Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band’, is considered to be unusually rare because it was photographed in 1967 being autographed by each member of The Beatles. (John, Paul, Ringo, and George)
According to James Massey, publisher of WhatSellsBest.com; “An unsigned, but sealed (1966 Beatles) “Butcher” album sold for $26,099 in January. Because this album’s already exceeded that amount, with four days left, we could see it go a lot higher.” (Auction ends May 10th)
