Western New England Bridal Show at the MassMutual Center in Springfield Will Honor Tickets Purchased by Scammed Boston Brides

Springfield, MA – The producers of The Western New England Spring Bridal Show taking place on Sunday, March 7, at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA have announced that any brides who purchased tickets to the cancelled bridal event that was reportedly scheduled for the Hynes auditorium in Boston this weekend, will receive free admission to their show this weekend at the MassMutual Center.

Lisa Powers, producer of The Western New England Spring Bridal Show in Springfield said “My heart goes out to these brides and their families. This is not the way we want our industry to be known.”

Powers, a member of the Bridal Show Producers International organization, said the least she can do is try to help the brides who were affected by this. “We started getting calls on Friday from exhibitors and attendees who were quite upset” said Powers. “The scope of the scam is staggering, we hope the perpetrators can be found and held responsible somehow.” Powers added.

The Western New England Spring Bridal Show takes place this Sunday, March 7th from 11-4pm at the MassMutual Center, 1277 Main Street, Springfield, MA.

Brides will need to provide a receipt as proof of payment. Receipts will be retained and offered to investigating authorities as evidence.
