Target Race Carts Set to Debut at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Sponsor to activate new motorsports product sampling program

CONCORD, NC - Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates and Target Chip Ganassi Racing announced today that sponsor Target will activate a new motorsports product sampling program during the 2010 racing season at select NASCAR and IRL events. The new Target At-Track Mobile Series will demonstrate the unique nature of the Target Racing program and also will showcase its valued sponsor partners.

The focal point of the program will be customized, completely operational and oversized Target Race Carts patterned after Target shopping carts. Trained Target street teams will drive and accompany these race cart vehicles throughout the race track property beginning on Friday and running through Sunday of select race weekends. They will distribute samples and coupon books for brands including: Glad, Energizer, Breathe Right, Gillette, Air Wick, Nicorette, Armor All and TUMS.

The program will debut at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Feb. 28), and continue at NSCS race weekends at Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 30), New Hampshire Motor Speedway (June 27), and the IZOD IndyCar Series race at Infineon Raceway (Aug. 22).

TARGET RACE CART QUICK FACTS

* Nearly 10 feet tall, more than five feet wide and more than13 feet long
* Travel at speeds up to 35-miles per hour and will be powered by an eco-friendly, 250 cc, propane engine
* Can seat two adults and hold more than 500lbs. of product
* Will be transported to the track via an open bed trailer, allowing for visibility when on the road
