Saz’s Chosen as the Official Caterer for the Tundra Tailgate Zone at Lambeau Field

Milwaukee, WI - September 10, 2009 – Packers fans have an exciting new option for tailgating this year. Saz’s Catering is now the exclusive food and beverage provider for the Tundra Tailgate Zone at Lambeau Field. Admission to the Tundra Tailgate Zone is free, it’s open to the public, and it is the biggest tailgate party at Lambeau Field.
“The Tundra Tailgate Zone is a great place for Packers fans to get together before, during and after the game,” said Steve Sazama, founder and owner of Saz’s. “Fans are treated to live bands, Packers Alumni autographs and a chance to win exciting prizes like team merchandise, game tickets, and pregame sideline passes. And the fact that there isn’t a cover charge makes this really unique.”
The Tundra Tailgate Zone is located in the east parking lot, outside the Oneida Nation Gate and offers comfortable climate controlled tents equipped with a large projection TV and more than 15 Plasma Screens. Even if you don’t have a ticket to the game you can participate in all the pregame festivities and then stay to watch the game on one of the many large TVs.
According to Saz’s Catering Director, Joe Brueggemann, they’re serving up Saz’s popular BBQ items and Saz’s festival famous fare including Mozzarella Marinara. The Tundra Tailgate Zone has a full service bar with cocktails, wine and beer – featuring MillerCoors Brewing products. “It’s an energetic atmosphere and our menus have something for everyone. The venue offers fans a great outdoor dining area in addition to the main tent and we also provide a MVP tent for VIP ticket holders that’s reserved for private parties,” stated Brueggemann.
The Tundra Tailgate Zone opens four hours before kickoff. For noon kickoffs, fans can also enjoy the 3:15 match-ups and relax until closing at approximately 7:00 p.m. For all other game times, the TTZ will close one hour after the end of the game. Fans can enjoy drink specials after the game to celebrate the wins and avoid the traffic rush.
In addition to the Tundra Tailgate Zone, Saz’s Catering is offering new tailgate menus for pregame functions in the Lambeau Field parking lot. Special tailgate menus have been created so there is no need to pack the grill – just call Saz’s Catering.
