Doris LaVonne lives her life standing firm on the word and promises of God. She resides in New Jersey with her husband of 38 years. Together, they have two adult children. While raising her family, Doris began a 22-year career as a preschool teacher. She obtained a master’s in early childhood education and a P-3 teaching certification. Doris truly enjoys the work of pouring into future generations. In the church, she served as Assistant Superintendent of Sunday School, Sunday School Teacher, Vice President of Pastor’s Aide, Education Committee, and Stewardess Board. Somewhere in the Middle is her debut as an author–and for it, she gives God all the Glory, Honor, and Praise.
