Nicholas Mihailovic Jr.’s “Forest Friends” Will Be Displayed at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2024

Nicholas Mihailovic Jr.’s children’s fiction book “Forest Friends” will be showcased by the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2024 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. The book festival will take place at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, on April 20-21, 2024.

The L.A. Times Festival of Books is an annual public festival celebrating community, literature, culture, and arts. Deemed as the largest literary festival in the U.S., the event has drawn around 150,000 visitors from around the world since 1996. The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books hosts events that include performances and storytelling for children, author signings, and panel discussions, among others.

“Forest Friends” follows a young boy who wanders into the forest to enjoy the scenic beauty of nature. Along the way, he meets different animals that need help. He helps the animals and creates a special connection with them as friendship grows between them.

“Forest Friends” uses a rhythmic flow of words, allowing the children to practice their vocabulary and exercise their imagination in a song-like platform. The book is also beautifully illustrated, letting the young readers get lost in the colorful world of the young boy and his “forest friends.”

The children’s book will be displayed at ReadersMagnet’s exhibit at the L.A. Times Festival of Books 2024 at booth #225. Visitors are encouraged to visit the booth to check out the book’s display.

Nicholas Mihailovic Jr. is currently a full-time college student. He has always been someone with many hobbies and interests and has thus found his place in the academic world. College gave him brilliant ideas for his series Animal Friends.

His inspiration first began with his younger siblings. Every day, they show him the meaning of true innocence. He hopes to inspire children to follow their dreams. He always enjoys nature. For him, the outside world is full of so many mysteries. He aims to bring those mysteries to light through Animal Friends.
