“This is very much an agricultural community, and I think this is going to go over so well,” said Sunny Stephens, co-owner and general manager of WOCC. “The show is well produced and informative, and the music segments from the Ernest Tubb Record Shop are right in line with the style of traditional country music we play. We are excited to bring this unique show to our listeners.”

Fastline Media Group (Fastline) has taken its popular Fastline Fast Track podcast to the airwaves. The first station to air the 30-minute, weekly version of the show is WOCC 102.7 FM and 1550 AM in Corydon, Indiana. The traditional country format station, located in the heart of Southern Indiana ag country, will air the show Saturday mornings at 6 a.m., beginning May 4.

Fastline Fast Track is a show aimed at helping people in the agricultural community understand important industry issues, make informed equipment purchases and find innovative ways to save time and money. Each episode also features interviews with, and a performance by, a different country music artist, recorded at the legendary Ernest Tubb Record Shop, 417 Broadway, Nashville, Tennessee.

Corydon was Indiana’s first state capital and is the county seat of Harrison County, which has about 40,000 residents. According to the recently released 2017 Census of Agriculture, there are 967 farms in the county, making it the eighth-largest farming county among Indiana’s 92 counties. Those farms reported a total of $62.8 million in cash receipts in 2016, including $34.7 million in crop receipts and $28.1 million in livestock receipts. As of January 2018, there were 20,500 head of cattle in the county, making it the No. 7 cattle-producing county in Indiana. It was third in the state for beef cattle production, with 8,600 head. It also ranks among the state leaders for popcorn production.

Fastline Fast Track is hosted by Brent Adams, a veteran broadcaster and journalist with more than 24 years of experience in radio, television and newspapers.

“I am thrilled that WOCC has agreed to be the first station to bring Fastline Fast Track to the airwaves,” Adams said. “We have a goal of taking this show to agricultural communities coast to coast over the next 18 months and Sunny and her team will play a big role in sharing listener feedback that will help us shape the direction of the show. It is our mission to produce relevant, timely content farmers, ranchers and anyone else interested in the rapidly evolving agriculture industry will find value in.”

Fastline Fast Track will continue to produce a bi-weekly podcast, which can be found at http://fasttrack.fastline.com. It also is available at Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher and TuneIn. It has a social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
