WorldAtlas.com Unveils New $500 Geography Quiz Challenge

(Galveston, TX) Here’s some exciting news for geography buffs and contest lovers. WorldAtlas.com, a site known for their ongoing geography quizzes which result in $100 prize payouts, has recently upped the ante. The website is announcing a brand new $500 Geography Challenge. The first person to answer all five challenge questions correctly gets to add a cool $500 to their pocket.

This is a contest true geography and travel connoisseurs, trivia lovers and great online researchers will be giddy over. The concept is simple. Contestants can head over to http://www.worldatlas.com/geoquiz/challengeintro.htm and read the current list of clues. The first one to answer all five questions correctly pockets the $500 prize. In addition to the $500 grand prize, World Atlas is also giving away $100 to each of the first four people to answer at least three questions correctly. And as with any real quiz, spelling DOES count.

The $500 Challenge is a bit trickier than the original, so if a little extra help is needed, contestants can follow WorldAtlasMan on Twitter at twitter.com/worldatlasman. For this contest, WorldAtlasMan will be tweeting bonus clues to all his followers. All past World Atlas winners and active players in the ongoing $100 quiz are eligible for the bigger contest, too. The $500 Challenge is going on now through August 7, 2009 and with the popularity the quiz is garnering, there is likely to be another following on its heels. All winners will be notified via email, as well as posted on the website.
