BUTLINS GOT THE TALENT - Diversity leads top Britain’s Got Talent Acts Appearing At Butlins This Summer

Butlins has always been renowned for its high quality live entertainment and this summer will be no exception. Finalists and favourites of the UK’s popular talent show, Britain’s Got Talent, will be appearing on stage at Butlins, and as if that was not enough… the show’s amazing winners, Diversity, will also be wowing the crowds.



Entertaining Butlins guests across all three seaside Resorts – Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness - this summer is a talent-studded line-up including the unique dance act and overall winners, Diversity. Butlins will also host performances from energetic and hilarious father and son act Stavros Flatley, young and gifted Shaun Smith, angel-voiced Shaheen Jafargholi, self-taught street dancer Aidan Davies, comedy impersonators Faces of Disco, former Butlins Redcoat and ventriloquist Gareth Oliver, dynamic rapper DJ Talent and not forgetting last year’s winner, body-popping, street-dancing George Sampson.



Mike Godolphin, Head of Entertainment at Butlins said: “Butlins has always been a supporter of British talent. Ringo Starr was working in a Resort band when he got the call to join the Beatles, and Des O’Connor, Jimmy Tarbuck and Sir Cliff Richard all started their careers at Butlins. Plus Stephen Mulhern host of the ITV show Britain’s Got More Talent and the live tour of the show began his showbiz journey as a Redcoat. This new wave of talented acts is a testament to the continued standard of our entertainment offering and sure to be a big hit with our guests this summer.”



A poll conducted by Butlins on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter asking which Britain’s Got Talent acts people would most like to see at Butlins this year identified Diversity as the clear favourite with over 20% of the votes and Stavros Flately coming a close second picking up 19% of the votes.
