Juniper Networks Holds #2 Market Share Position in Worldwide Service Provider Edge and Core Routing

Achieves 25.3 Percent in Edge and 30.9 Percent in Core According to Synergy Research Group

(NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that it has maintained its #2 market share position in the Service Provider Edge and the Service Provider Core Routing markets with 25.3 percent and 30.9 percent respectively for the quarter ending December 31, 2005. Juniper has maintained its strong position in these two market categories for more than 13 consecutive quarters with an average of 23.1 percent in edge and 26.3 percent in the core. The Service Provider Edge Routing category is made up of three sub-segments including IP Edge Aggregation, Broadband Aggregation and IP Services.
