Sorrento Networks Appoints Kevin Antill as Vice President of Sales for the Americas and Pacific

DENVER — May 21, 2009 — Sorrento Networks, a global provider of metro optical access solutions, today announced Kevin Antill as the company’s new vice president of sales for the Americas and Pacific. Antill oversees Sorrento’s sales organization across North America, South America and the Pacific Rim.

Antill joins Sorrento with more than 20 years of sales experience in the telecommunications equipment industry, working with both carriers and enterprise customers. Prior to joining Sorrento, Antill served as vice president of strategic accounts for Sycamore Networks. In this role, he developed and executed a channel program that successfully targeted tier II carriers and utilities in North America.

Antill joined Sycamore after spending 10 years with Carrier Access, where he was the senior vice president of sales. Antill also spent 10 years with Walker and Associates where he served as vice president of sales and grew revenue to more than $300 million annually. Antill began his telecommunications career at Penn Telecom, a subsidiary of North Pittsburgh Telephone Company.
