Applied Industrial Technologies Announces National Authorized Distribution Agreement with THK

Cleveland, OH (May 19, 2009) – Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE:AIT) has announced an expansion of its relationship with THK, a market leader in linear motion technologies. Applied now has the ability to distribute nationally all THK linear components including Linear Motion Guides, Ball Screws, Ball Spline, Ball Bushings, Actuators and Systems.

Applied’s entire supply chain network will have access to THK products for quick distribution to its customers throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. In addition, Applied sales associates will be able to tap into THK technical support and grow a broad and efficient knowledge base on THK product capabilities.
