MCP Opens New Offices In North America

Maritime Communications Partner (MCP), the Global Maritime Cellular Operator, announced the opening of their offices, Maritime Communications Partner Inc., on the East Coast of the USA. The new offices in Miami, Florida will provide MCP’s rapidly-growing client base in North America with project management, sales, marketing and other client-facing services.
This step is in line with MCP’s strategy of building an international presence; providing cellular services on board cruise-ships, ferries and other vessels around the world.

CellAtSea™ enables passengers and crew to make and receive calls and SMS using their own mobile phones and phone numbers. For the passengers, the mobile services are transparent and will operate seamlessly through MCP’s network in the same way as when travelling abroad. MCP tariffs all calls, and handles the revenue flow generated by the networks, through industry standard billing and accounting systems. The customers are charged by their home operator through normal invoicing routines.
