Pope’s Visit, Peace to Israel for Holy Sites Breaks Covenant
“President Obama reportedly told King Abdullah of Jordan that he wants the United Nations flag over holy sites in eastern Jerusalem,” according to Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu, citing the Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper. “This would violate God’s covenant with Israel and the pope is coming at a prophetic time when judgment could be expected,” says Dr. Richard Ruhling, author and Bible prophecy researcher.
2500 years ago, a Jewish prophet wrote, “the day of the LORD comes, and your spoil shall be divided in the midst of you. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and…you shall flee as you fled from before the earthquake…” Zechariah 14:1-5. “All nations” did not happen in 70 AD. “All nations” could be Bible imagery for United Nations that wants to divide the land that God promised to Israel.
The pope wants to move to Jerusalem to be in charge of the holy places. Speaking of the end of the world, Christ said to understand Daniel’s book (Matthew 24:3,15), when a “king” from the north, “shall plant…his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain.” Daniel 11:45.
Anciently, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Grecia, and Rome came from the north to fight Egypt (the king of the south). The papacy is a blend of those cultures and comes from the north, though the battle is more of a spiritual one that it wages. Jerusalem is God’s “holy mountain,” Daniel 9:16.
Christ said, “if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up,” Matthew 24:43. To understand why the pope is “the goodman,” and how his visit fits a prophetic time, visit www.PopesVisit.net
