Circle BMW in NJ Shows Off New 2009 Z4

Circle BMW in NJ is showing off the third generation BMW Z4, remodeled for 2009 and ready for a test drive at their Eatontown dealership.

The exciting news for the new Z4 is the addition of a retractable aluminum hardtop that raises or lowers automatically in 20 seconds and stows in the trunk. The addition of a hardtop means the new Z4 can function as either a roadster or a coupe, or both.

There are two versions of the car available — the Z4 sDrive30i and the Z4 sDrive35i. The standard model is fitted with a 3.0-liter DOHC inline six-cylinder engine rated at 255 horsepower and 220 pound-feet of torque. The upgraded 35i variant gets BMW’s sensational twin-turbo, direct-injection 3.0-liter six that delivers 300 hp and 300 lb-ft.

Other notable features include BMW’s latest generation iDrive infotainment system, a 650-watt stereo system with 14 speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, and a retractable hardtop that lowers in just 20 seconds.

The Auto Press gave positive reviews all around to the new look of the Z4.
