Transmode announces new simpler solutions for enterprise customers

Stockholm, Sweden, Transmode, a leading provider of optical networking solutions, today announced the availability of a range of pre-configured TS-Series solutions that allow enterprise customers to cost efficiently boost fiber capacity via the simplest possible solution.

Enterprise, campus and private optical networks all share the same challenges when it comes to the efficient transport of the ever increasing amounts of bandwidth. Point-to-point connections between campus sites or between different enterprise hubs need to be easy to use, boost the existing fiber capacity and most importantly be low cost.

Transmode’s popular TS-Series is ideally suited to enterprises and network operators that require simple and cost efficient additional capacity over fiber infrastructure. Using Transmode’s Intelligent WDM (iWDMTM) with automatic bit rate and protocol detection to give customers a plug-and-forget solution, the TS-Series is already the easiest WDM system in the market to design, install and manage. The new pre-configured solutions take this one stage further by providing solutions that are even simpler and quicker to take from order to service.

The pre-configured solutions allow simplified point-to-point networks for Ethernet transport, with options for either 4x GbE multiplexed over a single wavelength or an expandable option containing a 4 wavelength optical mux/demux supporting up to 16 GbE services over a single fiber pair. The solutions are available for rapid delivery and ready to install straight from the box.
