BooksOnBoard Congratulates Stanza Developers On Acquisition By Amazon

BooksOnBoard, the largest independent eBook retailer and the first ebookstore to offer books for sale on Stanza, congratulates Lexcycle (the developer of Stanza) on their acquisition by Amazon yesterday.

The acquisition by Amazon is indicative of the growing interest in eBooks and alternative platforms for reading eBooks. While sales of more traditional eBook Readers continue to be strong, eBook sales for Smartphones such as the iPhone and BlackBerry are growing rapidly.
