Cracker Barrel is Firing Up the Grill!

Campfire Chicken, Beef, and Grilled Chicken Pineapple Salad available for limited time

LEBANON, Tenn. –Think about the simple goodness of meals cooked right on the campfire, and then come to Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® to enjoy the great outdoor taste of our Campfire Grill offerings, just in time for all the fun you have planned for this summer. From May 11 through the July 4th holiday weekend, stop in at Cracker Barrel for your choice of three different Campfire Grill meals!

“What makes these meals taste so great is that the meat is slow-cooked in foil in its own juices and broth to lock in the flavors and make it so tender,” says Cracker Barrel Chef Bill Kintzler. “Our guests really enjoy the experience of opening their own individual foil packages and being treated to the delicious aromas of fresh oven-roasted vegetables and juicy, grilled chicken or beef, just like they remember from camping trips and outdoor excursions.”

Our Campfire Chicken is a tender half chicken flavored with our own special seasoning, slow-roasted in foil with its own juices and broth, corn on the cob, whole-cut carrots, fresh red skin potatoes, chopped onions, and tomato wedges. Served with your choice of corn muffins or scratch-made buttermilk biscuits, it’s offered at $8.49.

Our Campfire Beef is carefully prepared like our Campfire Chicken, but we use two pieces of our thick-cut, lightly seasoned USDA Choice chuck roast, slow-cooked in foil until fork tender, along with the corn on the cob, whole-cut carrots, fresh red skin potatoes, chopped onions, and tomato wedges. Served with your choice of corn muffins or scratch-made buttermilk biscuits, it’s offered at $8.99.

For lighter summertime fare, try our grilled Chicken Pineapple Salad, with our marinated grilled chicken tenderloin, crunchy pecans and chopped pineapple, all on top of a fresh salad mix with tomato wedges and Monterey Jack cheese. It’s served with our very own creamy pineapple ranch dressing on the side for $7.99.
