Sipera Systems’ Secure Teleworker Solution Rated "Avaya Compliant"

Sipera UC-Sec Teleworker application is compatible with key Avaya IP Telephony solutions; Helps businesses confidently extend comprehensive Unified Communications to remote workers and offices

RICHARDSON, Texas - Sipera Systems, the leader in real-time Unified Communications (UC) security, today announced that its UC-Sec Teleworker solution is compliant with key IP telephony solutions from Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services.

The UC-Sec Teleworker solution from Sipera helps businesses to deploy secure real-time IP communications including voice, video, instant messaging, collaboration tools and other applications to remote offices, home offices and an extended workforce. Sipera’s solutions provide comprehensive security, including encryption, access control, policy enforcement and threat mitigation for remote teleworker communications, promoting compliance with information security requirements and supporting business continuity plans.

The UC-Sec security appliance now is compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Communication Manager 5.1.1 and SES 5.1.1.

As a Platinum member of the program, Sipera Systems is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J. There a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant.
