According to James Massey, publisher of WhatSellsBest.com, a free website which tracks, and provides photos of top items selling on eBay; (Including the ”Mystery Rock”) “It’s not uncommon for certain types rocks to fetch sizable amounts on eBay”

Massey added; “In early March a 20 pound meteorite sold for $7,500, and a fossilized Saber tooth (cat) skull sold for $6,500.” It appears March has been good month for unusual “rocks” on eBay.
