Chubb Executive Receives Outstanding Making a Difference for Women Award

WARREN, NJ.- The National Council for Research on Women (NCRW) honored Sunita Holzer, an executive with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, for her significant contributions in helping other women within the corporations she has worked, as well as within the broader women’s community. Holzer received her award at the 27th Annual Making a Difference for Women award dinner in New York on March 3.

Holzer joined Chubb as worldwide human resources officer in 2003. She was promoted to executive vice president in September 2007. Previously, Holzer held managerial positions at GE Capital Corporate, American Express and American International Group. She is also a member of Chubb’s Women of Color Advisory Council and serves on the Board for Jersey Battered Women’s Service, Inc., a nonprofit organization whose mission is the prevention of domestic violence.

Holzer has a bachelor of science degree from the State University of New York - Stony Brook, a masters of science degree in human resource management from the School of Labor Relations at New York Institute of Technology and a Six Sigma certification.
