Dow Corning presenting at the Skin and Formulation 3rd Symposium

Léon Marteaux, senior development specialist, Dow Corning Europe SA, will discuss Dow Corning’s unique encapsulation and delivery systems at the Skin and Formulation 3rd Symposium and 10th Skin Forum. The event, for which Dow Corning is a gold sponsor, runs from March 9-10 in the Palais des Congrès of Versailles, France.

Today, most microencapsulation technologies consist of Core Shell type microcapsules that build an organic shell around a lipophilic active. Mr. Marteaux will describe a new route to building a silicate mineral shell with unique features that can improve the overall efficacy of topical products as well as treatment compliance.
