Europcar Renews IT Outsourcing Contract with Unisys

Unisys to continue providing IT infrastructure services to Europcar employees in more than 1,800 locations in five-year contract extension

Paris – Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) today announced that its French subsidiary has received a five-year extension to its contract to provide outsourced information technology (IT) management and support services to Europcar, European leader in passenger car and light utility vehicle rentals. This renewal, signed in the fourth quarter of 2008, continues the relationship between the companies that began in 2000 and reflects Europcar’s confidence in Unisys infrastructure outsourcing services.

Under the terms of the contract extension, Unisys will continue delivering a range of IT services for Europcar employees in locations throughout Europe, including Europcar’s nine headquarters in seven countries – Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and United Kingdom – and 1,800 commercial agencies.

The Unisys services include installation, management and support services for desktops and other IT infrastructure; creation of master software images for Windows and Linux desktops; and technical assistance for resolution of service events.
