(NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced that Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company has joined the Juniper Networks Open IP Solution Development Program (OSDP). As a member of the OSDP, Juniper Networks provides Lockheed Martin with access to the Partner Solution Development Platform (PSDP), which enables customers and partners to develop specialized applications on its best-in-class JUNOS® software.

The PSDP provides a powerful set of resources, including a software development kit (SDK) with intelligent and secure interfaces to JUNOS routing and service functions, and technical and business support. By building applications on top of JUNOS software, customers and partners can reduce the time and expense associated with application development, deployment and the ongoing operations of supporting new solutions.
