Elite, Clarity Systems, introduce Firm Performance Management to the Legal and Professional Services Markets

WEBWIRE

LOS ANGELES – Elite, a worldwide provider of integrated practice and financial management systems for professional services firms and Clarity Systems, a leader in corporate performance management (CPM) solutions, will integrate the Clarity 6 financial reporting and consolidation solution in the Elite Enterprise brand. Elite is part of Thomson Reuters.

This announcement enables Elite Enterprise clients immediate access to the Clarity 6 software suite and offers these clients a seamless transition from Elite Enterprise to 3E – the next generation financial and practice management software system.

The agreement builds upon a successful Elite and Clarity partnership which began in 2006 when Clarity’s budgeting functionality was introduced into the Enterprise platform and expanded to an OEM relationship with the new Elite 3E brand in June 2008.

The culmination of these three years of collaboration is the emergence of the Firm Performance Management standard, which brings together leading, industry-specific planning, forecasting, consolidation and financial reporting solutions for legal and professional service firms on the Clarity 6 platform.

“The legal industry has had a disconnected, multi-product approach to performance management,” said Frank Pizzolato, chief executive officer, Clarity Systems. “With this announcement, Clarity and Elite will offer Clarity’s CPM solution to the entire legal and professional services market, introducing a new industry standard with Firm Performance Management.”

“With the recent announcement from Microsoft discontinuing their planning and consolidations products, firms are looking for a CPM solution on a Microsoft platform like Clarity 6,” said Steve Buege, president and CEO, Elite. “Clarity’s technology is unified and open, enabling us to offer Firm Performance Management to any legal or professional services firm running any major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform.”
