CSC Wins U.S. Army Technical Services Subcontract

FALLS CHURCH, Va.- CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it will provide training, technical engineering and documentation services to the U.S. Army’s Product Manager Joint-Automatic Identification Technology office under a subcontract with Savi Technology Inc., a Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) company. Savi Technology is one of four companies to be awarded the competitively bid indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)-III contract, which has a three-year base period and 12 one-year options. The total combined maximum ceiling value for all four firms is $428 million. This contract was awarded to CSC during the company’s third quarter fiscal year 2009.

The RFID-III contract provides for ISO/IEC 18000-7:2008 compliant RFID hardware, software and documentation. Prime contractors will provide services including training, warranty and maintenance, technical engineering, and hardware and software delivery and installation.
