Bethesda, MD .- Paris in the Spring; Hawaii during the coldest winter days; Orlando with the kids; or a weekend in New York City. Marriott Rewards®, the award-winning guest loyalty program, said goodbye to blackout. Marriott Rewards members will be able to redeem points for free nights at 2,900 hotels every day of the year.

“Our members have told us that they want to be able to use their points on their terms,” said Ed French, senior vice president, Marriott Rewards. “By eliminating blackout dates, we are giving our members more choice and making it easier for them to travel when and where they want.”

Other changes to the Marriott Rewards program include:

• For every four-night stay redeemed, members will receive a fifth redemption night free for that stay.

• Platinum Elite members’ bonuses will increase from 30 to 50 percent of the total points earned during their stay.
