WellNes Centre inaugurated in Vevey
Vevey, Switzerland, Nestlé today inaugurated its new WellNes Centre at the international headquarters in Vevey in the presence of Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, Chairman of Nestlé S.A., Paul Bulcke, CEO of Nestlé S.A. and Philippe Leuba, Minister of the Vaud Cantonal Government. Meeting the highest environmental standards, the WellNes Centre is designed to provide Nestlé employees with services which contribute to their health and wellbeing. Inspired by the company’s nutrition, health and wellness strategy, it reflects Nestlé’s heritage, values and vision.
The two-storey building houses two restaurants, a coffee lounge, a gym and a medical centre for Nestlé employees. With 1,300 lunches served every day, the WellNes Centre is the largest company restaurant in the area. The construction of the new building, designed by Lausanne architects Richter and Dahl Rocha, started three years ago and underlines the company’s commitment to the region and its development.
