L&L Dreamspells, has become the new publisher for the funny, award-winning Silver Sisters Mysteries series. Authors Morgan St. James and Phyllice Bradner are delighted that their new publishers share their sense of humor.

The funny, award-winning Silver Sisters Mysteries series has a new home. Authors, Morgan St. James and Phyllice Bradner, who are sisters in real life, have just signed with L&L Dreamspells for paperback and electronic format publication of the second novel in the series, Seven Deadly Samovars. This comical crime caper is currently in audio production with Books in Motion, Inc., audio publisher of A Corpse in the Soup, named Best Mystery Audio Book of 2007 by USA Book News. Morgan and Phyllice are zapping e-mails back and forth, as they draw upon their quirky sense of humor to create the Silver Sisters’ next escapade, Vanishing Act in Vegas. Phyllice lives in Oregon and Morgan splits time between L.A. and Las Vegas.

Phyllice left Los Angeles to move to Alaska when she was twenty years old and lived there most of her adult life. Morgan stayed in L.A. They were never close as sisters until they discovered their mutual love of funny mysteries. Both sisters were published writers in different genres and in 2000 decided to start the 21st Century by pooling their talents to create books and stories of their own. A Corpse in the Soup was a long time in the making as they learned the craft of writing fiction. But they didn’t care. Recalling their zany family during their formative years and later, reminiscing about goofy family dinners and get-togethers and modeling characters after themselves and other wacky family and friends was so much fun they almost forgot the goal was to produce a book.

Readers constantly tell them how much they love the wisecracking Silver Sisters, identical silver-haired Mae West lookalikes, their eighty-year-old mother and uncle who are former vaudeville magicians and all of the quirky names, schemes that backfire, and twists and turns that lead to solving the crimes.
