NAV-TV is the first to provide the ability to add an aftermarket headunit to vehicles equipped with the M.O.S.T. Network
Las Vegas, Nv.– NAV-TV®, an international leader in OEM vehicle network integration technology for infotainment and telematics device optimization, announced the release of the long awaited solution to add an aftermarket headunit to vehicles equipped with MOSTÒ. The MOSTAH add-a-head solution allows direct integration into select vehicles opening up opportunities to upgrade these vehicles with the latest in aftermarket multimedia solutions without having to remove or bypass the MOST Network devices such as the factory amplifier.
This ground breaking solution provides automatically adjusting balanced audio outputs, ignition and remote turn-on, and steering wheel control integration. It also provides outputs for vehicle speed sense (VSS), reverse, e-brake and brake. The inputs are four (4) RCA’s and a factory amplifier turn-on.
The new solution will be available for many popular automotive brands with the MOST Network and is less vehicle specific. The MOSTAH add-a-head adaptor provides a fully integrated solution that opens the door to install popular aftermarket headunits in vehicles that were once restricted from this type of integration into the factory mobile multimedia system.
“Retailers requested a solution and NAV-TV responded with an innovation that allows advanced aftermarket multimedia headunits to be connected directly to complex networks that in the past have hindered such an installation.” said Vice President of OEM, Chris Cook. “NAV-TV continues to leverage its automotive expertise with cutting-edge solutions that bring audio and video into the vehicle.”
NAV-TV will be demonstrating this innovative integration solution at the International Consumer Electronics Show North Hall booth number 4812.
