Don Piper to Speak at Victory Christian Center in Boca Raton, Florida

BOCA RATON, FL -- Victory Christian Center, a non-denominational, Christ-centered church located in Boca Raton, Florida, is pleased to announce Don Piper as its special guest speaker on Sunday, January 11, 2009.

Piper, a public speaker and best-selling author of 90 Minutes in Heaven, will share his message and testimony during service times of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

“We’re pleased to have Mr. Piper join us,” says Pastor Don Karpinen, founder and senior pastor of Victory Christian Center.

“His message of faith, hope and healing will be a blessing to all those who attend,” he adds.

In 1989, Piper was involved in a head-on collision, prompting paramedics to pronounce him dead on the scene. During that time, Piper claims to have spent time in heaven, where he was reunited with loved ones.

Ninety minutes after dying, Don Piper came back to life where he faced a long and grueling recovery. Since then, he has been telling other Christians about the eternal home that awaits them. He has appeared in numerous national media outlets, including Fox News, CBN, “The Today Show” on NBC and Newsweek.

Piper’s appearance at Victory Christian Center is one of many special events planned in 2009 for the rapidly expanding church.
